[email protected]. You are welcome to communicate with your team via email, telephone, or some video communication platform (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Blackboard Collaborate, Zoom, etc.). For more information on using university-supported communication platforms, please visit the
Office of Information Technology website. UNIV 2020 teams will be interdisciplinary, which means third-year students will have teammates from two or more of the eight schools. The goal is to use each of your team member’s unique skill-sets to complete the project. Below are a few examples of
potential contributions from students within the different schools:
- Arts and Humanities (A&H)
- Outline an effective communication strategy.
- Provide important historical perspective.
- Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication (ATEC)
- Design visual graphics for promoting solution (e.g., website, logo, etc.).
- Behavioral and Brain Sciences (BBS)
- Determine what challenges/improvements may arise from human interference or error.
- Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Sciences (ECS)
- Design a prototype.
- Build a website.
- Economic, Political and Policy Sciences (EPPS)
- Identify methods for overcoming potential political issues.
- Interdisciplinary Studies (IS)
- Devise a plan for educating stakeholders about your solution.
- Determine if there are any medical implications or health concerns that may worsen/improve after your solution is implemented.

- Develop a budget.
- Design a marketing strategy.

- Identify the physical limitations of implementing your solution.
